Openapi sponsors Web Summit 2026: see you in Lisbon

From 9 to 12 November we'll be at Web Summit in Lisbon as a sponsor, with our own stand. It's one of the most important tech events in the world, and for us it's a special one: a chance to take our APIs beyond Italy and meet developers, companies, startups and partners from across Europe and beyond, in person.

What is Web Summit

Web Summit started in Dublin in 2009 as a small gathering of digital professionals and has grown into one of the largest tech events on the planet. Since 2016, its flagship edition has taken place every November in Lisbon, which has since become one of the key hubs of the European tech ecosystem.

The 2026 edition is expected to bring together more than 70,000 attendees, over 900 speakers, more than 2,300 startups and over 1,200 investors. Founders, CEOs, developers, journalists and institutions share the same spaces to talk about artificial intelligence, fintech, cybersecurity, sustainability and digital transformation: everything that is changing the way companies work and build products.

The event takes place in the Parque das Nações district, between the MEO Arena and FIL – Feira Internacional de Lisboa. It kicks off on Monday 9 November with the opening night at the Arena, while from 10 to 12 November the FIL pavilions host stages, talks, stands and the huge exhibition area where companies and startups showcase their projects. Beyond the official programme, Web Summit is above all about networking: meetings, conversations and new partnerships that often start right between one stand and the next.

You'll find us at Openapi stand no. 0604-13, in Pavilion 4 at FIL, from 10 to 12 November. Our team will be there to show you how our APIs work, answer your questions and talk through the projects you're working on. From Rome to Lisbon

Openapi was born in Rome and today offers companies and developers an ecosystem of APIs to access official data and digital services: business information, identity verification and trust services, official documents, fintech, communication and much more. All with a single integration and a single account.

At Web Summit we also want to show you the newest side of our work: how our APIs can become tools for AI agents, thanks to our MCP Server. It's a topic we'll be happy to dig into at the stand with anyone already working with artificial intelligence or thinking about it.

At the stand: the Nintendo Challenge

This year the stand takes centre stage. For all three days, from 10 to 12 November, a Nintendo Switch challenge is waiting for you. Play, climb the leaderboard and go for the highest score: there's a prize for whoever finishes in first place.

Drop by whenever you like, play as many times as you want and come back to check your position on the leaderboard over the following days. It's an easy way to take a break between talks and, while you're at it, find out what we do.
