For some time now, Openapi has been engaged in a process of internationalisation of the Marketplace, which has seen the introduction of an increasing number of services available outside Italy. One of the latest important innovations in this regard concerns the enrichment of the API Company through in-depth data relating not only to the Italian market, but also to the French market.

Thanks to Openapi's new database, it is in fact now possible to access up-to-date information on over 37 million French companies and operational units, available in real time through three dedicated endpoints: Start, Advanced and Search FR.

Company Start France

To better understand how the new services work and what data they offer, we can start with Company Start FR.

This first endpoint allows one to check both the company's activity status with the French commercial register and to have access - with a single API request - to over 30 pieces of data on French companies, including:

• SiretCode and SirenCode
• Full company name
• VAT Number
• Activity Status
• Registered office (place name, house number, address, city, department, postcode)
• GPS coordinates (longitude and latitude)
• Chamber of Commerce Registration Date
• Company ID

With this service, it is possible to consult the basic data of any French company immediately and securely, and thus have all the information of primary importance in a few moments.

Company Advanced France

The second endpoint, Company Advanced FR, differs from the first in that it offers over 60 data points, even more in-depth and specific than those of Start. In particular, it allows you to obtain - always in real time - information such as:

• Other operating locations (with Siret Code, name, address, activity status)
• Date of registration in the French National Business Register
• Legal form
• Activity Classification
• Balance sheet with submission date, turnover, profits and employees

For both Company Start and Company Advanced, the starting parameters are Siret Number (SiretCode), Siren Number (SirenCode), VAT Code, ID (internal company identifier).

A single API request is sufficient to obtain a complete and in-depth overview of the company, with data useful for financial analysis, market strategy, or due diligence activities.

Company Search France

With the third endpoint, Company Search FR, it is possible to search and filter companies according to various parameters in order to obtain a list of companies that meet certain criteria. Among the search parameters are:

• Latitude, longitude, radius
• Company name
• City
• Number of employees
• Activity status
• Turnover
• Legal Nature Code

Company Search FR is particularly useful for companies that need to quickly find partners, suppliers or potential customers with specific characteristics within the vast French national territory.

The Company France Database is designed to meet the needs of all companies that would like to have quick and up-to-date information on French companies.

It is especially aimed at business intelligence companies, B2B marketing and all those who need to verify the data of companies registered with the Chamber of Commerce.

By integrating these endpoints into their platforms, it is possible to optimise business verification operations, zero invoicing errors and make the onboarding process easier, but also to assess the creditworthiness of customers and reduce credit risk.

The internationalisation of our Marketplace does not stop here: we are working on adding new databases for other countries both within and outside Europe, with the aim of diversifying our services and seizing new opportunities for innovation within an increasingly global context.
