Innovative services for automated document management, valid throughout Europe according to eIDAS Regulation
Openapi has just introduced a series of new API solutions designed to automate and mass signatures, in full compliance with the European eIDAS Regulation and in full security. These are Qualified Electronic Signature (QES) and Qualified Electronic Seal (QeSeal), flexible, customisable services with no annual fees, which allow large volumes of documents to be digitally signed and sealed in seconds, directly from a server.
But let's look at them in more detail.
Qualified Electronic Signature (QES) is the solution that allows individuals to sign documents in single or mass mode via API. Two types of signature are available on Openapi: Automatic and Automatic with OTP. The latter includes strong authentication via One Time Password for an additional level of security.
The signatures can be easily integrated into software, ERP, business management and are fully customisable: they support standard formats (CAdES, PAdES, XAdES, PKCS#1), operate in synchronous or asynchronous mode and have 30 security levels.
In addition, it is also possible to mark the document with any type of time stamp.
First of all, a signature certificate (valid for 3 years) must be activated, with a simple and fast identification procedure via video recognition or digital credentials (SPID, CIE, CNS, digital signature).
Openapi's other new solution is the Qualified Electronic Seal (QeSeal), which is the counterpart of the QES, but for legal persons.
It is an essential tool for entities, companies and organisations, which can thus guarantee the integrity and authenticity of documents, with recognised evidentiary value throughout Europe.
The seal available on Openapi can be applied massively and automatically, with the possibility of integrating time stamping to officially certify date and time.
Here too, the service is customisable, allowing any format to be selected (CAdES, PAdES, XAdES and PKCS#1) and the procedure can take place in synchronous or asynchronous mode.
One of the great strengths of signing and sealing, as mentioned at the beginning, is the absence of fixed fees: one only pays for the activation of the certificate and the actual uses.
Openapi's new solutions are designed for those who manage large volumes of documents to be signed or certified on a daily basis. They are ideal in particular for administrators, law firms, public bodies, banks, insurance companies, doctors, and all businesses that operate with a high document flow.
Both services offer concrete and measurable benefits:
Signatures and seals represent a fundamental tool for those who focus on automation and innovation: they not only simplify document management, but also increase efficiency and minimise manual intervention.
