The Priority Mail Italy service, allows you to send communications at a low cost with the option to verify delivery status. All via API.
You can send letters and documents to one or more recipients (there are no limits), including both private individuals and companies, as well as P.O. boxes, all in one delivery.

To send a priority mail, you need to use the POST /prioritarie/ endpoint and provide information such as:

It is also possible to set up automatic confirmation (autoconfirm) and thus automatically send the shipment (if the value is set to "true"). In this case, the shipping cost will be charged immediately and the shipment scheduled.
If, on the other hand, you want to check the shipment details and the associated costs before sending, autoconfirm should be set to false.
POST /prioritarie/
The response will include all information regarding the sender, the recipient, and the message, as well as detailed information on costs and the ID needed for confirmation of sending.

PATCH /prioritarie/
To confirm the sending of priority mail, you will need to make a second request using the PATCH method and pass the ID of the previously made request.
The response will include all the data of the priority mail with the status "confirmed".
The number of pages for priority mail can range from 1 to 100. Beyond the 50th page, printing will automatically be double-sided. When sending with the POSTprioritarie/, you can get the cost of each shipment before charging, based on the number of pages and selected options.
It is also possible to fully customize the cover of the communication, for example by adding a logo, company information, or promotions. Customization can be done through the API or via the Playground, which also allows you to preview before sending.
The Priority Mail Italy includes a free 12-month digital archiving option for the content signed and digitally stamped by Poste Italiane. The legal compliance of the digital archiving certifies the content, ensuring it cannot be denied by the recipient in case of a legal dispute.

For online shipments, the processing times added to the indicated delivery times are: printing within one working day (T+1), if the shipment is accepted by 14:00 from Monday to Friday, excluding holidays.

The maximum number of pages is currently 50, or 100 if the double-sided option is used. If a document exceeding 50 pages is uploaded without enabling the double-sided option, the system will generate an error message. In such cases, it is mandatory to select the double-sided option to proceed correctly with the document submission.
The maximum size for a PDF document, after our compression, is 5 MB for all products, except for Posta 4 PRO, Posta Massiva, and Raccomandata Smart (these 3 products accept up to a maximum of 15 MB).
