The Certified video identification solution, the highest level of security for verifying users’ identities worldwide, featuring liveness detection, qualified human review, and ANSSI certification, compliant with AML, GDPR, PSD2, and ETSI standards.
The Certified Identity Verification API service allows you to securely verify users' identities remotely through a combination of artificial intelligence, biometric verification with liveness detection, and review by anti-fraud experts. The entire process is designed to ensure the highest level of reliability and complies with the most advanced security standards required in regulated environments.
The service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and allows you to verify more than 3,000 types of documents from over 190 countries. Document authenticity is verified through in-depth checks, including validation of date and ID consistency, detection of fraudulent copies, verification of Optical Variable Elements (OVE), physical appearance, security points, and production methods. It includes reading of VIZ and MRZ zones, validity checks, black and white image analysis, holograms, watermarks, ILV, as well as characteristics such as color, plasticity, impressions, embossing, perforations, microprinting and guilloché.
To prevent counterfeiting, artificial intelligence analyzes the dynamics and angle of the document through video, verifying authentic holographic elements. During the process, a biometric facial verification with liveness detection is also performed to ensure the real presence of the user and prevent the use of pre-recorded videos, emulators, or digital manipulations.
Unlike fully automated methods, the Certified process also includes a qualified human review by anti-fraud experts and validation compliant with ANSSI certification standards. After the automated and biometric verification phases, the identification is analyzed by specialized operators who confirm its authenticity and regulatory compliance.
The verification result is not immediate: the Certified process includes a complete and certified review. The final result is generally returned within 3 hours or more, depending on the time required for validation by experts.

The identification platform is available in 19 different languages and is completely neutral (no company logos will be visible).
With the Certified mode, users can independently complete the video identification procedure from any device, while the final validation phase is performed by a team of specialists who ensure compliance with the required security and regulatory standards.
The identification procedure is mainly based on six steps:
- Browser compatibility check, connection verification and camera detection
- Consent acceptance
- Selection of document type and issuing country
- Video recording of the document and movements
- Video recording of the face with liveness verification
- Review by anti-fraud experts and release of a certified result compliant with ANSSI standards

It integrates advanced AI-based authenticity checks and, when necessary, the support of a specialized fraud prevention team. During the procedure, the user is required to record a video of the identity document (front and back), including its movement and tilt, to allow authenticity checks.
The service is GDPR-compliant, aligned with the European PSD2 directive, and certified according to ETSI standards.
2. Flash Advanced Identity Verification
Retains all the advantages of the Flash Start service (full automation, speed, and cost efficiency) and also includes Liveness detection, which verifies the user’s actual presence during the identification process.
In addition to recording the identity document, the user is required to record their face with specific facial movements to enhance security and prevent fraud attempts.
The service is GDPR-compliant, aligned with the European PSD2 directive, and certified according to ETSI standards.
3. Expert Identity Verification
A high-security identification solution that combines Liveness detection with an in-depth review carried out by a team of anti-fraud experts. Every stage of the process is supported by human review, ensuring maximum reliability even in complex cases.
In addition to recording the identity document and the face with specific facial movements, further verification steps are required to enhance security and prevent fraud attempts.
The service is GDPR-compliant, aligned with the PSD2 directive, certified according to ETSI standards, and compliant with major AML regulations.
4. Certified Identity Verification
The Certified mode represents the most advanced level of identity verification available on the platform. It combines artificial intelligence, biometric verification with liveness detection, and review by anti-fraud experts.
The process is validated according to ANSSI certification standards and is designed to meet strict regulatory requirements in AML and KYC frameworks within regulated sectors.
