Company Start and Advanced Italia are the first two API services integrated by Unitiva into Odoo, the world's largest business application management software!
Openapi has a new Gold partner: Unitiva, a software house with consolidated experience in IT and in designing and customising systems with Odoo.
To understand how this collaboration works, it is important to first clarify what Odoo is: it is the world's largest business application management system, which has made the open-source model its strong point, building a community of 100.000 developers. It has over 400 integrated modules covering every area of the business: from CRM to invoicing, from warehousing to production.
Unitiva, as a Gold partner of Odoo, specialises precisely in the development of customised ERP solutions.
In this first phase of its collaboration with Openapi, it has worked on the integration of data from our marketplace within Odoo with the aim of enriching the master data automatically, and with reliable and always up-to-date information.
To do this, it chose the services Company Start and Company Advanced Italy. Let us see in more detail how this integration works.
The first Openapi service used by our partner is Company Start Italy, which allows to obtain - with a single API request and in real time - specific master and tax data on Italian companies.
Thanks to this integration, Unitiva can automatically populate master records on Odoo with various data, including
Using only the VAT number parameter, it is made possible to quickly compile the information of each contact, without wasting time in manual entry and above all eliminating the risk of errors.
The data provided by Openapi are certified according to the ISO/IEC 25012 standard and are constantly updated, guaranteeing maximum quality and reliability.
The second service chosen by Unitiva is Company Advanced Italy, thanks to which it is possible to access - with a single API request and in real time - both all the personal and economic data and information on the activity and components of a company in Italy.
The integration has made it possible to enrich the master data within Odoo with advanced data, such as:
A comprehensive data set that helps companies get to know their customers and partners better, from the first stages of contact to the choice of operator. In this way, risks and opportunities can be better assessed and activities can be managed more consciously.
In addition, some of Company's data, such as address, certified email and addressee code, are crucial for efficient, secure and error-free invoice management.
The combination of Unitiva's expertise and Openapi's certified data represents a concrete evolution in the management of business information within Odoo.
Thanks to these integrations it will now be possible to:
The integration of Company Start and Company Advanced Italia within CRM is only the first step in the collaboration between Unitiva and Openapi. Our partner is already working on the integration of other services, such as those offered by the Risk API, to assess the reliability and credibility of private or legal entities.
In the future, we also plan to use the international data provided by our API Company (i.e. relating to companies all over the world and not just in Italy), as well as PEC services for the immediate sending of certified messages, massive qualified electronic signatures for the automatic signing of documents, and electronic receipts. The possibilities are really many and we can't wait to show you the developments of this partnership!
This integration will be the subject of a talk at the Odoo Days Italia 2025, scheduled to take place in Naples on Monday 26 and Tuesday 27 May.
During the event, which brings together connoisseurs and experts of the Odoo ERP platform, Rosario Savarese (CEO of Unitiva) and Shaun De Lucia (Co-founder of Openapi) will give a talk dedicated to the partnership.
We will keep you updated on this upcoming event and future integrations on our social channels LinkedIn and Facebook. Keep following us so you don't miss the next news!
